G-Power has a reputation for making fast cars even faster. In the past, the German shop has worked its magic on performance cars like the BMW M3 and SUVs like the BMW X5. But now it’s turning its attention to another German automaker; this upgraded Mercedes-AMG E63 S is what it calls a “wolf in sheep’s clothing.”
With a whopping 800 horsepower (588 kilowatts) and 737 pound-feet (1,000 Newton-meters) of torque on tap, this upgraded E63 S definitely lives up to its name. An extra 197 horses (146 kW) and 110 lb-ft (149 Nm) of torque were added to the factory model. Now the super wagon can sprint to 100 kilometers per hour (62 miles per hour) in 3.1 seconds, and on to a top speed of 211 miles per hour (340 kmh).
The regular Mercedes-AMG E63 S wagon starts at $106,950. With more than $23,000 worth of upgrades, buyers will be staring down the barrel of a near $130,000 asking price. But for an 800-hp wagon, we’d argue that it’s well worth the six-figure asking price. European buyers can order it from G-Power today. American buyers won’t be able to get their hands on the upgrade, unfortunately.
